Wie bildet man das Present Simple mit 'be'?
Bejahende Sätze
Das Verb 'be' hat im Present Simple drei Formen: am, is, are. Welche Form Sie verwenden, hängt vom Subjekt ab.

Beispiele:

Verneinte Sätze
Um die Verneinung zu bilden, fügen Sie 'not' nach dem Verb hinzu. Für die meisten Subjekte gibt es zwei Kurzformen.

Für Fragen stellen Sie am / is / are vor das Subjekt.

Kurzantworten
In Kurzantworten verwenden wir 'Yes, [Subjekt] + am/is/are' oder 'No, [Subjekt] + am not/isn't/aren't'. In bejahenden Kurzantworten verwenden wir keine Kurzformen.
- Are you ready? – Yes, I am. / No, I'm not.
- Is he here? – Yes, he is. / No, he isn't.
- Are they students? – Yes, they are. / No, they aren't.

Setzen Sie ein Fragewort (who, what, where, when, why, how) an den Anfang der Frage.
