Present Perfect Simple

El Present Perfect Simple se usa para conectar el pasado con el presente. Lo formamos con have / has + el participio pasado. Para la mayoría de los verbos, el participio pasado es el mismo que la forma Past Simple (por ejemplo, play → played).

Algunos verbos cambian su ortografía (por ejemplo, study → studied), y muchos son irregulares (por ejemplo, go → gone, write → written). Puedes encontrar una lista completa de verbos irregulares en las lecciones relacionadas abajo.

Cómo Formar el Present Perfect Simple

Oraciones Afirmativas

Para hacer la afirmativa, usa have / has + el participio pasado.

Oraciones Negativas

Para hacer la negativa, añade not después de have o has.

Preguntas Sí/No

Para hacer una pregunta, coloca have / has antes del sujeto.

Ejemplos:

  • Have I missed the bus?
  • Have you visited London?
  • Has he worked as a waiter before?
  • Has she met John?
  • Has it been cold this week?
  • Have we arrived too early?
  • Have they studied English grammar before?

Preguntas con Wh-

Para preguntas con wh-, coloca la palabra interrogativa antes de have / has.

Ejemplos:

  • Where have I left my umbrella?
  • What have you done today?
  • Why has he gone already?
  • Where has she been in the UK?
  • Why has it rained so much this summer?
  • What have we done?
  • Where have they learned English before?
