¿Cómo se forma el Present Simple con 'be'?
Oraciones afirmativas
El verbo 'be' tiene tres formas en el Present Simple: am, is, are. La forma que se utiliza depende del sujeto.

Ejemplos:

Oraciones negativas
Para formar la negación, se añade 'not' después del verbo. Para la mayoría de los sujetos existen dos formas contraídas.

Preguntas
Para las preguntas, se coloca am / is / are antes del sujeto.

Respuestas cortas
En las respuestas cortas, usamos 'Yes, [sujeto] + am/is/are' o 'No, [sujeto] + am not/isn't/aren't'. En las respuestas cortas afirmativas no se usan formas contraídas.
- Are you ready? – Yes, I am. / No, I'm not.
- Is he here? – Yes, he is. / No, he isn't.
- Are they students? – Yes, they are. / No, they aren't.
Preguntas con Wh-
Se añade una palabra interrogativa (who, what, where, when, why, how) al principio de la pregunta.
