Past Perfect Simple
Le Past Perfect Simple est utilisé pour montrer qu'une action s'est déroulée avant une autre action dans le passé. Il nous aide à établir une séquence claire des événements passés.
Nous formons le Past Perfect Simple avec had + participe passé. La même forme est utilisée pour tous les sujets (I, you, he, she, it, we, they).
Formation
Forme Affirmative
Formez le Past Perfect Simple avec had + participe passé. Les contractions ('d) sont courantes en anglais parlé.

Forme NĂ©gative
Ajoutez 'not' après 'had' pour former les négations. La contraction 'hadn't' est couramment utilisée.

Placez 'had' avant le sujet pour former les questions.
Exemples :
- Had I finished my homework before dinner?
- Had you visited Paris before 2020?
- Had he already left when you arrived?
- Had she cooked dinner before the guests came?
- Had it rained before we left?
- Had we seen that film before?
- Had they studied English before moving here?
Questions avec Wh-
Commencez par un mot interrogatif, puis utilisez had + sujet + participe passé.
Exemples :
