直接引语与间接引语
基本比较
直接引语:
使用说话者的确切措辞并加引号
""I am tired," she said."
""We will come tomorrow," they told us."
""Do you like coffee?" he asked."
间接引语(Reported Speech):
转述所说的内容而不使用引号
She said (that) she was tired.
They told us (that) they would come the next day.
He asked if/whether I liked coffee.
间接引语的关键变化:
- 去掉引号
- 改变代词以匹配新的视角
- 通常改变动词时态(时态后移)
- 调整时间和地点指示词
- 使用转述动词(say, tell, ask)
基本转述动词: Say, Tell, Ask
SAY
转述陈述而不提及听者
Structure: say + (that) + 从句
Example: She said (that) she was happy.
With 'to': She said to me that she was happy.
TELL
转述陈述并始终包括听者
Structure: tell + 人 + (that) + 从句
Example: She told me (that) she was happy.
Note: 必须包括被告知的人
ASK
转述问题
Structure: ask + (人) + if/whether/疑问词
Example: He asked if I was ready.
Note: 间接疑问句中不使用问号

时间指示词变化:
today → that day
tomorrow → the next day/the following day
yesterday → the day before/the previous day

应避免的常见错误
❌ She said me she was tired.
✅ She told me she was tired. / She said she was tired.
'Say'不接直接宾语;在提及对谁说时使用'tell'
❌ He told that he was happy.
✅ He said that he was happy. / He told me that he was happy.
'Tell'必须包括被告知的人
❌ She asked that I was ready?
✅ She asked if/whether I was ready.
是非问句使用'if'或'whether',不用'that'
❌ "I am tired," she said that she was tired.
✅ "I am tired," she said. / She said that she was tired.
不要在同一句子中混合直接引语和间接引语
分步转换指南
"I am reading a good book," she said.
- 去掉引号: I am reading a good book, she said.
- 选择转述动词结构: She said...
- 改变代词: I → she
- 应用时态后移: am reading → was reading
- 必要时调整指示词: a good book(无需改变)
- 最终结果: She said she was reading a good book.
