一般过去时
一般过去时用于谈论过去已完成的动作和情况。它是英语中最常用的时态之一。
一般过去时有不同的形式，取决于是否使用'be'动词或其他动词。'be'动词有两种过去形式（was/were），而其他动词使用规则过去形式（以-ed结尾）或不规则过去形式。
构成
使用'be'的肯定句
'be'动词在一般过去时中有两种形式：'was'（用于I、he、she、it）和'were'（用于you、we、they）。

使用'be'的是/否问句
使用'be'的问句，将was/were移到主语前面。

- Were they at home yesterday?
使用'be'的疑问词问句
疑问词问句以疑问词（who、what、where、when、why、how）开始，后面跟was/were和主语。
例句：
- Where was I when you called?
- Why were you absent yesterday?
- Who was he with at the restaurant?
- How was she after the operation?
- What was it like in London?
- When were we supposed to meet?
- Where were they last weekend?
使用其他动词的肯定句
对于其他动词，使用过去形式。规则动词加-ed，不规则动词有特殊的过去形式。

使用其他动词的疑问词问句
