Past Perfect Continuous (Past Perfect Progressive)

Il Past Perfect Continuous mostra che un'azione era in corso nel passato prima di un'altra azione o momento. Enfatizza la durata o la continuità dell'attività precedente.

Formiamo il Past Perfect Continuous con had been + la forma -ing del verbo. La stessa forma è usata per tutti i soggetti (I, you, he, she, it, we, they).

Forma il Past Perfect Continuous con had been + verbo-ing. Le contrazioni ('d) sono comuni nell'inglese parlato.

Forma Negativa

Aggiungi 'not' dopo 'had' per formare i negativi. La contrazione 'hadn't' è comunemente usata.

Sposta 'had' prima del soggetto per formare domande.
