Present Perfect Continuous

O Present Perfect Continuous (às vezes chamado de Present Perfect Progressive) não é tão comum quanto outros tempos, mas ainda é importante compreendê-lo e reconhecê-lo. Formamos com o Present Perfect de 'be' + verbo-ing.

A estrutura é: sujeito + have/has been + verbo-ing.

Para fazer a negativa, adicione not após have / has.

Perguntas Sim/Não

Para fazer uma pergunta sim/não, coloque have / has antes do sujeito.

Exemplos:

  • Have I been walking?
  • Have you been running?
  • Has he been cooking?
  • Has she been swimming?
  • Has it been raining?
  • Have we been studying?
  • Have they been sleeping?

Perguntas com Wh-

Para perguntas com wh-, adicione a palavra interrogativa antes de have / has.

Exemplos:

  • What have I been doing?
  • Where have you been running?
  • What has he been studying?
  • Why has she been working today?
  • How long has it been raining?
  • How long have we been watching this film?
  • How long have they been living here?
