O Present Continuous tem diferentes usos. Pode descrever ações que estão acontecendo agora, situações temporárias, arranjos futuros e até hábitos irritantes. Entender quando usar este tempo é fundamental para falar inglês natural.

Formação
Forma Afirmativa
Forme o Present Continuous com am/is/are + verbo-ing. A mesma estrutura é usada para todos os verbos. As contrações ('m, 's, 're) são comuns no inglês falado.

Forma Negativa
Adicione 'not' após o verbo 'be' para fazer negações. As contrações são comumente usadas.

Perguntas Sim/Não
Coloque am/is/are antes do sujeito para formar perguntas sim/não.
Exemplos:
- Am I eating chocolate?
- Are you studying now?
- Is he working?
- Is she doing her homework?
- Is it raining?
- Are we meeting at six?
- Are they coming?
Perguntas com Wh-
Para perguntas com wh-, adicione uma palavra interrogativa no início da pergunta.
Exemplos:
- Why am I eating chocolate?
- What are you studying now?
- When is he working?
- What is she doing?
- Why is it raining?
- Who are we meeting?
- How are they travelling?
Uso
